Flow Cytometry Specialist
The Infectious Disease Interdisciplinary Research Group (IRG) is a research group established within SMART. In this IRG, you will have opportunity to work with leading investigators in novel platform technologies and their applications in the following diseases: dengue, malaria, bacterial pathogens. The IRG is currently looking for a flow cytometry specialist.
You will be responsible for maintaining and operating the Fluorescent-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) and Flow Cytometry Apparatus. You will train new users and educate existing and new users on new development in the field. You will have the opportunity to learn how to operate new equipment, such as confocal microscope, and work with other scientists on specific research projects.
• Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor in Science or related field
• Extensive experience in operating Flow Cytometry and FACS machines, and working in a BSL-2 laboratory environment
• Good communication and organizational skill
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
