Company Description
Thrixen is a Singapore-based biotech/medtech company revolutionising point-of-care diagnostics through its proprietary engineered protein binder platform. Unlike conventional antibody-based diagnostics, Thrixen's technology replaces antibodies with engineered proteins, enabling faster, cheaper, and more accurate multiplex testing from a fingerprick blood sample. Its flagship VIBEX rapid test distinguishes bacterial from viral infections within 10 minutes. Thrixen is also partnering with BARDA to develop a multiplex rapid diagnostic for Ebola and Malaria.
