Trisail Medical

Trisail Medical is a Singapore medtech company spun out of the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), developing a minimally invasive transcatheter device to treat tricuspid regurgitation (TR) — a condition estimated to affect 1.6 million people in the US alone (Enriquez-Sarano et al., Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases, 2019), with limited treatment options. The TriSail device uses an artificial single leaflet-like spacer structure placed inside the valve to block blood backflow. The global tricuspid valve repair market was valued at US$638.1 million in 2022 and is projected to reach US$1.0 billion by 2030 (Grand View Research).
